Kameele Lynne Vortex-Born On June 15, 2005, And Born To Heaven 5 Hours Later.

Kameele was an unplanned blessing. Mommy & Daddy were only 17 years old. We were determined to keep her though, and catch up with school with the use of online classes. When we told our folks, they were surprised, scared, but also so happy. LOL. They offered us all the support we could use. Mommy found out Kameele was coming on December 12, 2004. Mommy was 9 weeks with Kameele. We had our first scan of Kameele at 10 weeks on 12/19/04. The heart beat was 124 bpm, good start. I was said to be due on August 1, 2005. Well, things went on, smoothly and normally. We found out Kameele was a girl at 17 weeks on February 13, 2005. We were ecstatic, so excited!!!! :) LOL. Things went fine, we got ready from time-to-time. I never had any sickness with her, the only way I found out was when I missed 2 periods in a row. You all know how that goes. Anyways, my pregnancy went on. On June 14, 2005, at 11:45 PM, at 36 weeks along, I felt a pop, and felt a gush. I woke up immediately, and it was my water. My water broke at 36 weeks, 1 month early. I told James to WAKE UP NOW!! He got up, I was in total shock, a little panic too. He just got dressed, and we rushed to the hospital. I was so scared. We had our own apartment, by the way. Anyways, James tried to be strong, but I could see he was in panic, and scared too. Once at the hospital, 11:58 PM, 6-14-05, we got admitted right away into the labor/delivery ward. I knew something was wrong. Why would my water break this early? Why? How? At 12:07 AM, 6-15-05, I was fully dialated, and was told to push. I didn't want to. But, I had too. Oh, and how it HURT!! Oh it HURT!! I didn't scream or yell, but maybe a little crying. At 12:10 AM on June 15, 2005, our baby girl arrived weighing 4 lbs. 11 oz. 18 inches. She was gorgoues, and she was placed on my belly for a moment, then rushed away to the NICU. Her lungs were not ready, so she couldn't breathe. Once in the NICU, they put her on oxygen and a ventilater as a back up, and some IVs. I didn't see her until 1:25 AM 6-15-05. She was very sick, they told us, but she was a fighter. At 5:39 AM, we decided to let her go. The ventilater was taken off, the IVs were taken off last, and they took the oxygen away too. She fought, and we held her kissed her, and said goodbye, and that she could come back whenever she wanted to, we'd be here with arms wide open. She passed away at 5:45 AM on June 15, 2005, the SAME day she was born. She's always with us. x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0.
Her service was on June 18, 2005. She was so peaceful. We love and miss her more and more each second of each day. x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0.

Now, almost 5 years have past. We are 36 weeks, 1 day pregnant right now, with Kameele's baby sister, known at Emiley Lynne, due on March 3, 2010. x0x0x0x0.

By Mommy & Daddy. x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0x0. (1-31-2010).
